Total prep time: ~ 20 minutes; Makes 3-4 servings
1 cup (dry) macaroni
2 T butter
2 T flour
1 cup milk
Honey Mustard (1 T or so)
½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
½ cup pepper jack cheese, grated
Parmesan cheese (up to ¼ cup)
Spices: ¼ tsp each of the following:
-smoked paprika, parsley, onion powder, and S&P
*Save some parsley to sprinkle on top right before serving.
Prep:
1 cup (dry) macaroni

Prep:
- Cook pasta in boiling water as directed on package.
- Melt butter in a pot, whisk in flour and keep whisking on medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
- Turn heat to low and quickly whisk in milk. Turn heat back up to medium and keep whisking until mixture starts to thicken and become smooth.
- Add the mustard, stir in grated cheese, then the spices. Stir until combined, then add in cooked noodles. For added effect, sprinkle more cheese on top then broil for one minute or just long enough to melt the cheese.
